United Airlines – UA 3348 – Chicago O’Hare (ORD) to Burlington (BTV)
Flight operated by TRANS STATES AIRLINES doing business as UNITED EXPRESS
Aircraft: Embraer ERJ-145
There’s no complimentary in-flight meal on this regional flight. I’m posting this to provide perspective, for myself, after taking long haul flights in huge planes complete with amenities. Now, to get to my final destination, I have to go with regional (smaller) planes. In this case, taking an Embraer ERJ-145 that are situated at the end of an annex terminal at ORD. You have to check your carry on luggage as the overhead bins are very small. The planes are much smaller and louder, having earplugs or noise cancelling earphones are recommended. Most of the planes in out of BTV are along this size even though it is an international airport (well, BTV has one international destination, Toronto, Canada).
