ANA All Nippon Airways – NH 835 – Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) to Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng International Airport (CGK)

Flight Time: 7 hour 50 minutes

Distance: 3,632 miles

Aircraft: Boeing 767-300

Class: Economy

Third leg of a long trans-pacific journey going back home. After a horrid meal service on the second leg, traveling with one of the world’s best airline is a much welcome change! Plus, I just wanna get home!

nh 835 meal menu

The menu for ANA Narita-Jakarta route for April 2014 – NH 835. As you can see, there’s Asian/Japanese option (A) and Western option (B). I went for B this time as I had something similar to A in February 2014.

nh 835 meal

A pretty complete and satisfying meal 🙂 Fresh salad with Japanese-style dressing. Also, two pieces of chicken karaage. There’s also crackers that goes with Philadelphia cream cheese along with bread roll and Anchor New Zealand butter. Bottled water is also included in the tray. Main dish will be covered below. Dessert was a scrumptious layered cake of some sort. Cant’ remember specifically but it was good! Also, you get a beverage of your choosing.

nh 835 meal main dish

Main dish is ANA’s western style hamburger with demi-glace sauce [sic]. It translates to Hamburger ANA dengan saus sedap in Bahasa Indonesia, hehe… Close enough. It was pretty good, sauce was not overwhelming. Side of broccoli, carrots, and baked potatoes to balance out protein from the egg and beef patty (under the egg). All in all, a great meal – considering the meal I had before on flight UA 881.

Selamat Idul Fitri! Selamat Hari Raya! Eid Mubarak!
